Welcome to Ca’ Matilde, a cozy Venetian nest of about 50 square meters, ideal for two people looking for comfort and tranquility.

Located on the second floor (without elevator) of a small, quiet and well-kept building, the apartment has been recently renovated and furnished with taste and elegance by the owner, originally for personal use. A place that combines the warmth of a home with the comfort of a carefree holiday.

The apartment offers:

Ca’ Matilde is just a few steps from Campo Santo Stefano and the prestigious Palazzo Grassi, in the heart of Venice. The vaporetto stops of San Samuele and Sant’Angelo are also a short distance away, while the private taxi landing is conveniently close by for those who want a more exclusive arrival.

You will find bed linen and towels at your disposal for the duration of your stay.

The apartments in Venice are all self catering: we will provide sheets and towels for the duration of your stay and a courtesy set. All goods for daily use must be purchased or brought by the guest.

To ensure a pleasant environment for all guests, smoking and pets are not permitted inside the apartment.
 

CHECK-IN

• Our staff will be available to welcome you at the apartment by appointment, between 15:00 and 19:00, no later.
• Self check-in is NOT available.
• We will be happy, if possible and upon advance request, to allow you to leave your bags in the apartment before 3:00 pm, so you can start enjoying Venice as soon as possible.
• You can leave your luggage and collect the keys, but we inform you that the apartment will be fully available to you starting from 3:00 p.m. At this time it will not be possible to use the bathroom, as the accommodation may still be being prepared.

 
Upon arrival you will be asked to sign a short-term rental contract for tourist purposes, according to Italian law 431 of 1998, regularly translated into all languages ​​and to provide a copy of your valid identity document.
 

SPECIAL LATE CHECK IN REQUESTS

Arrivals between 19:00 and 21:00 (and not later than that time) are only possible upon advance request at the time of booking and subject to our confirmation.

In case of acceptance, a supplement of €50 will be applied for late check-in.
 

CHECK-OUT

• Check-out is by 10:00.
• Important note: the building does not have a lift. The apartment is located on the second floor.

HEATING AND ITALIAN LEGISLATION

Heating is regulated by the Presidential Decree of 26 August 1993, n. 412.

For Venice (climate zone E), heating can be turned on from 15 October to 15 April.

The internal temperature can be adjusted between 18°C ​​and 22°C, for a maximum of 14 hours per day, according to the following permitted time slots:

• 6:00 am to 11:00 am
• 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
• 6:00 pm to 12:00 am

 
If the radiators are cold outside these bands, it is to comply with current regulations. The boiler is however set to always maintain at least 18°C ​​inside.
 

EXTRA COSTS TO BE PAID UPON ARRIVAL

• Final cleaning: €60
• Tourist tax: €3 per person per day (up to 5 days), according to municipal regulations
• Heating supplement (from 15 October to 10 April): €15 per day
• Security deposit refundable at check-out, after verification of the accommodation: €100

AIR CONDITIONING

Available from April 15th to October 15th. It is not active outside this period.
 

KEYS

Guests will be given only one set of keys.
